SETTING

The Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort is situated on the western coastline of Langkawi Island known for its mythology and legends. It offers travellers the perfect combination of sun, sea, island and rainforest. The Sheraton is located amidst the natural rainforest with beautiful garden settings on one side and the idyllic stretch of the coastline of the calm Andaman Sea. Approximately 7 kilometres from Langkawi International Airport, the travelling time is only ten minutes and the resort is close to many attractions on the Island.

FACILITIES

The Sheraton Langkawi provides a beautiful swimming pool overlooking the beach, where all kinds of non-motorised water sports facilities, like windsurfing are available. A gymnasium with a fully equipped exercise room, sauna, Jacuzzi and aerobic area as well as a spa provide guests with indoor activities. Tennis courts, beach volleyball and table tennis and a children’s play centre with a playground offer outdoor activity fun.

The business centre provides two computers and every room offers high-speed internet connection, while the lobby provides the guests with a high-speed WLAN-connection.

Conference and banqueting facilities are able to accommodate up to 500 people as well as two break-up rooms which are able to accommodate up to 50 people each. Standard audio visual equipment is available on request.

For recreation the Sheraton offers activities like windsurfing, snorkelling or yachting, beach volleyball, table tennis, tennis and a fully equipped air-conditioned health club with gymnasium, aerobic area, sauna and massage rooms, as well as a children’s pool and a big family pool both overlooking the Andaman sea.

A childrens play centre is open from 9 am to 5 pm each day and it offers a playground, educational books, video games and toys. The child minder takes care of children from 4 to 12 years of age and a babysitter can be arranged on request.

The spacious warm interiors of dark wood and natural earthen colours as well as the big balconies and verandas, make the rooms blend in with the surrounding tropical woodlands.

Housed in a single storey Malaysian chalet style. Spacious timber floor rooms (52 square metre in size) with a private balcony, oversized bathroom with shower and bathtub and modern room facilities. SEA FACING

A 52 square meter room with a spacious balcony located in either two storey units or single storey chalet style units. Room balcony offers a partial view of the Andaman Sea. SEAFRONT JACUZZI

A 52 square meter room with a spacious private balcony, housed in a single storey Malaysian chalet style room with a Jacuzzi in the bathtub. Rooms offer stunning views of the Andaman Sea. BEACHFRONT

A 52 square meter room housed in one storey Malaysian chalet-style timber floor room, located right on the beachfront.
