Langkawi has been at the crossroads of different civilizations and each has left behind their influence on the peoples of this land. Successive waves of conquest and counter conquest, trade and commerce have produced a diverse and interesting mix of races, religion and lifestyles.

This tour is for those who wish to better understand the people of Langkawi. Join us on a journey of cultural discovery. We will visit local Malay homes, places of worship, a market, a fishing community and a farming community.

We participate in their arts and recreational activities and along the way meet individuals and develop new friendships.

Highlights include visits to the Hindu Temple, Buddhist Temple, Muslim Mosque, a traditional timber Malay village house, Malay wood carver, Malay martial art and dance demonstration and a night market.

Price: RM 200 per adult (USD 65), RM 100 (USD 33) per child till 12 years.

Includes return hotel transfers, tea and Malay pastries. Minimum 2 people.

Modest dress is required for entering places of worship.
